The story

Past Tense follows the story of our main character, who receives a call from someone he left long ago, leaving him no choice except to return to the life he once abandoned.

Only now, everything--and everyone--has changed in ways he couldn't expect. As he confronts his past, he must navigate the complexity of relationships, emotions, and decisions that will shape his future.

Will he be able to redeem himself? Can you start over again and build new relationships in a place where everybody remembers?

What to Expect

Past Tense is a Romance Visual Novel with adult themes. The game emphasizes storytelling, focusing on building meaningful relationships, exploring romance, and delving into dramatic moments that shape the characters' lives.

Gameplay: Game renders are natively 1080 resolution, with music, and sound effects. (currently no animations in the game, due to hardware limitations.)

In-Game Choices: Your decisions shape the story! Choices will lead to different dialogues and outcomes, ranging from minor to major impacts. Some decisions may even influence the ending you’ll unlock.

Relationship/Sexual Content: I aim to focus more on the relationship/romance side. There will be nudity and sexual/lewd content. I don't want to throw mindless sex scenes left and right. If there's a sex scene/lewd, I want to make sure that it makes sense to the story and has a reason to be there.

This game contains mature content including violence, harsh language, self-harm, drug use, nudity, and sexual situations involving adults of consenting age (18+).
